Band Info
Bush
Bush started off in London in 1992. Gavin and Nigel
first met up backstage at a concert, and began talking about their tastes
in music, and favorite bands. They each were in their own group, but quit
them to start their own. Dave was a friend of Gavin's, and had asked him
if he wanted to play bass for their new band. It looks like he accepted!
One night while playing for some people, they met Robin. They told him
how much their drummer sucked, and asked Robin to take over his job. So,
this is how Bush came together.
The four guys were making a living as painters, while
they had the occasional gig at a few clubs, and places like that, trying
to net a record signing. One rep at Trauma Records caught word of them,
and decided to look into Bush's music. Their first single was Everything
Zen, which radio stations were playing before Sixteen Stone
was even released.
Since then, Bush has become known worldwide for their
music, and have sold millions of copies of both their albums, their second
being Razorblade Suitcase.
Gavin Rossdale
Gavin was born on October 30th, 1967. He grew up
in London with his Mom, Dad, and Sister. His father left his family later
on, and his step-father had died. He dropped out of school at the age of
seventeen. The first band he joined, Midnight, was one he only sang in,
since he has only been playing guitar for about six years.
Nigel Pulsford
Nigel's birthdate is April 11th, 1965. He took part
in a group called Kings Blank. His sister is a keyboard player for Cindy
Lauper.
Robin Goodridge
Robin was born on September 10th, 1965. He was part
of Beautiful People, one of his older bands. He is married to his wife
Glynis, who shares with him their daughter Ruby Rose.
Dave Parsons
Dave's born on July 2nd, 1965. His old band was Transvision
Vamp.
I don't know much more.
Winston
Winston is Gavin's pulli (a dog, DUH). She was born
on March 4th, 1989. One of Gavin's friends had asked him to babysit her,
dogsit her, or whatever you want to call it. Gavin had tons of fun while
he was taking care of her, so, he decided to keep her, knowing that his
friend used to beat Winston up. Winston made her music debut in the beginning
of X-Girlfriend, and also starts off the second Bush album
in Personal Holloway.
